Player Database
The Player Database records the changes to team rosters throughout a season. At any time, you are able to look at the roster for any team, at any week of the season, enabling you to note any changes over time. It is also used to export rosters to csv files and customized template-made files.
Note : Only the "Roster" viewing mode is currently enabled, but more will appear in time, meaning for more in-depth analysis of team rosters.

The Player Database window
The Database screen is divided into many different sections -
Along the top of the screen are various choices and information.
The first section provides a status for the current player database. This should
indicate whether or not there are any problems.
The next section allows you to change both the season and current week for viewing.
The final section along the top of the Database screen provides some options for
viewing certain details of rosters and changes.
The list on the left hand side provides all the teams in the league.
Any roster changes for the week will appear in the list at the bottom-center of
the screen.
For Rosters, the main view in the center of the screen looks much like the League
Roundup reports, in that it shows the teams' current squad.
Also included are the Save and Export buttons. The Save button is only avaliable
if the database has changed, say for instance when it is first created. It does
not save itself automatically, and if you attempt to close the Database screen while
changes exist, you will be warned accordingly.
If you want to export the rosters to file, select the Export button.

Selecting the date
The season can only be changed during the League Roundup week (ie. the currently loaded report is for that week), as during this week there are effectively the current season rosters, and the rosters for next season. For any other week of the season you can only view the database for that season. If a week appears to be missing, ie. Roundup through to the last week of a full season, then it is probable that you have failed to load that week's rosters into the database. To fix the problem, you need to re-open the email file for that week, and return to the Database screen, and in doing so gp_vcon should ask you whether you would like to add this week to the database.

Pick a team
The main display will remain empty until a team is selected from the Teams List. This will cause the roster for that team, at the given week, to be displayed in full.

The changes this week
Once a team is being viewed, any changes to the roster for that week will appear in the Changes for Week list. This includes ALL changes, from player swaps, fixes, coaching to Free Agent signings.

Options
If you want to turn on, or off, all the No-Star players on the view, you can toggle the option at the bottom of the window. Sometimes a roster becomes more clear without the players that don't actually make up the numbers in the team.
Note about Free Agent acquisitions :
gp_vcon uses the active Free Agent list to match a player with the number given
in the roster changes section of the reports, and generate the correct player settings.
