Naming

The names of the exported rosters can be fully configured to a large number of different formats, from the file extension used, to the actual name of each file produced.

Naming the Exports

Type of name

There are two main ways to name Export files, both having different effects :

Export extensions

By default, the export file extension is .csv. This doesn't mean that the file itself will automatically be a comma-separated file, but just denotes the text after the dot. There are three predefined extensions of csv, txt and html, and one for allowing you to customize the extension to suite your own needs.

Custom extension

On selecting the Custom option, you can then edit the text in the space provided to anything you like.

Export prefixes

You may also pre-define a prefix to be added to the name of the export file. This might be useful if you want to have the files easily identifiable. For example, you may want your exported files to begin with the text, "exp", and so it can be entered in the box provided.
It is also possible to swap the order of the prefix text and the rest of the export file name. So for example, by selecting Prefix then Name, a file might look like "exp_NFLN.csv", but with Name then Prefix, the file would look like "NFLN_exp.csv".

Name parts

By default, the included parts to a filename, League Name, Season, and Week Number, are turned off, and instead the text "all" is used to denote all the teams in the league. Of course, when you use the Multiple Team Files option, the "all" is not required, and one of the other conventions below will be used instead.
However, the three options here can be applied at any time, and will look something like :

More parts

When you do choose Multiple Team Files, you'll notice that the three options to the right are enabled, namely Team Nickname, Team Abreviation, and Numerical by Team Name. These add a unique identifier to each file you export. A list of examples follow for each :

A name by example

At the bottom right of the page is an example of what the name of an exported file might look like, and when adjusting the settings, this changes too.
